Shanghai Area English CET-4 and CET-6 Exam Registration Guidelines

We are pleased to announce the release of the Shanghai Area English CET-4 and CET-6 exam registration guidelines for the upcoming academic year. This guide aims to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the registration procedures and requirements.
The registration period for the English CET-4 and CET-6 exams will begin on August 1st and end on August 31st. All eligible students currently studying in universities or colleges can participate in the exams. To register, please follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Shanghai Area English Testing Service (SAETS) at www.saets.org.cn. Create an account if you do not have one already.
Step 2: Log in to your SAETS account. Fill in the required personal information accurately, including your full name, identification number, contact information, and educational institution details.
Step 3: Select the desired exam level (CET-4 or CET-6). Ensure that you have met the minimum requirements for each exam. For CET-4, students must have completed at least two years of English study, while CET-6 requires a minimum of three years of English study.
Step 4: Pay the examination fee online through the SAETS website. The fee for CET-4 is set at 150 RMB, and CET-6 is priced at 180 RMB.
Step 5: After completing the registration and payment, download and print your admission ticket from the SAETS website. Make sure to bring this ticket along with your valid identification document (ID card or passport) on the day of the exam.
To ensure a smooth registration process, please keep the following points in mind:
1. Double-check all the information before submitting your registration form to avoid any mistakes.
2. Pay close attention to the specified registration period. Late registrations will not be accepted.
3. Keep your SAETS account credentials safe and confidential to prevent unauthorized access.
