I am delighted to inform you that we have made some significant changes to the registration fees for the Shanghai English Proficiency Examinations for the second half of this year. As part of our ongoing effort to make the exams more accessible and affordable, we have decided to adjust the fees to ensure equitable opportunities for all aspiring candidates.
In response to the current global economic climate, we understand that many individuals face financial constraints. Therefore, we have made the decision to reduce the registration fees by 20% across all levels of the exams. This reduction aims to encourage more participants to take the exams and ultimately contribute to their personal and professional development.
We believe that education should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial circumstances. By lowering the fees, we hope to inspire a greater number of individuals to enhance their English language skills and open doors to new opportunities in both academic and career pursuits.
The revised fees for the second half of this year's Shanghai English Proficiency Examinations are as follows:
- CET-4: ￥200
- CET-6: ￥220

Please note that the revised fees will be applicable starting from August 1st, 2023. For those who have already registered and paid for the exams, a reimbursement will be processed automatically.
