We are delighted to inform you that the registration system for the Shanghai English Proficiency Test (SEPT) will soon be open! The SEPT is one of the most prestigious language exams in China, and it provides a comprehensive assessment of English language skills for both undergraduate and graduate students.
As the summer break approaches its end, it's time to start preparing for the upcoming SEPT. This highly anticipated examination will be held on September 15th and 16th, giving you ample time to refine your English language proficiency. The SEPT evaluates four key areas: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. It is designed to gauge your ability to communicate effectively and confidently in English.
To register for the SEPT, you will need to visit our official website, www.septexam.org, starting from July 15th. The registration period will last for two weeks, ending on July 29th at 5:00 PM. Please note that late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances, so make sure to mark these dates in your calendar and submit your registration on time.
To ensure a smooth registration process, please prepare the following documents beforehand: a valid identification card, a recent passport-sized photo, and your student ID. It is crucial that the information provided is accurate and matches the details on your ID, as any discrepancies may lead to disqualification.
As we aim to create a fair and competitive exam environment, all test-takers will be strictly prohibited from bringing electronic devices, including mobile phones, smartwatches, and tablets, into the examination venue. Additionally, we kindly request that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled examination time and bring your own stationery, such as pens and pencils.
