Attention: Revised Registration Dates for National College English Test (CET)
Dear students,
We would like to inform you of the recent adjustment in the registration period for the National College English Test (CET). As one of the most significant English proficiency exams for Chinese college students, the CET plays a crucial role in measuring and improving your English language skills. To ensure that all students have ample time to prepare and register for the upcoming test, the registration dates have been rescheduled. Please take note of the revised information below.
Previously, the registration period was expected to begin on August 1st and end on September 1st. However, upon careful consideration and feedback from both students and institutions, it has been decided that an extension will be provided. Hence, the new registration dates are as follows:
Registration Start Date: August 5th
Registration End Date: September 10th
By extending the registration period, we aim to give potential applicants more time to gather necessary documents, complete the registration process, and make any necessary arrangements. This adjustment will also allow students to focus on their studies during the initial few days of the new semester before participating in the CET registration.

2. Registration Method: online registration is the only accepted method. Please visit the official CET website (www.cet.edu.cn) to create an account and complete the registration process.
3. Required documents: Prepare a valid identification document, such as your national ID card or passport, and your student identification card. You will need to upload these documents during the registration process.
4. Exam Fee: The examination fee remains unchanged. Candidates must pay the required amount online before the registration deadline.
5. Confirmation and Admit Card: After successful registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Please ensure that all the details provided during registration are accurate. Your admit card will be available for download from the official website one week prior to the examination.
