We are pleased to announce the official registration schedule for the upcoming National English Proficiency Tests - the College English Test (CET) 4 and CET 6. These examinations, widely recognized as an essential benchmark for English language proficiency in China, will be held on September 10th, 2023.
Registration for the CET 4 and CET 6 exams will commence on July 21st, 2023, and close promptly at 23:59 (GMT+8) on August 18th, 2023. This two-week window provides prospective candidates with ample time to carefully prepare and complete their registration without haste.
To ensure a smooth registration process, we advise all candidates to review the following guidelines:
1. Eligibility: only current students enrolled in Chinese colleges and universities are eligible to take the CET 4 and CET 6 exams. Please verify your enrollment status with your university administration before proceeding with the registration.
2. online Registration: All registrations must be completed online via the official National English Proficiency Testing Service website (www.nepts.org). The website will provide detailed instructions and prompts to guide you through the registration process. It is crucial to submit accurate personal information and contact details to ensure efficient communication and eligibility verification.
3. Examination Fee: The examination fee for both CET 4 and CET 6 remains unchanged at 80 RMB per candidate. Payment can be made securely online using major credit cards or through authorized online payment platforms. Please note that the examination fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
4. Test Centers: Candidates can choose their preferred test center during the registration process. It is advisable to select a center closest to your place of residence or study to minimize travel arrangements and potential disruptions on the examination day.
5. Admittance Tickets: Admittance tickets will be available for download from the NEPTS website starting from August 28th, 2023. Candidates must present their printed admittance ticket, valid identification (Chinese citizen ID card or passport), and student ID card on the day of the examination. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
