We are pleased to inform you that the registration for the English College Entrance Examination (CET) is now open. The CET, also known as the English four-six test, is a standardized English proficiency exam widely recognized in China. Registration for the upcoming CET will be held from July 20th to August 10th. To ensure a smooth registration process, please carefully read the following information:
1. Eligibility:
- The CET is open to all college students and graduates who wish to improve their English proficiency.
- High school students who are planning to pursue higher education are also welcome to participate in this exam.
2. Registration Procedures:
- online Registration: Visit the official CET website (www.cetexam.org) and create an account. Fill in your personal information accurately, including your name, gender, date of birth, contact information, and education background.
- Payment: After completing the registration form, proceed to the payment section. The examination fee is 80 RMB, which can be paid online using various payment methods.
- /confirm/iation: once the payment is successfully made, you will receive a confirmation email containing your unique registration number and exam details.
3. Test Format:
- Listening Test: This section will assess your ability to understand spoken English through multiple-choice questions.
- Reading Test: You will be tested on your comprehension skills by answering questions based on provided passages.
- Writing Test: You will be required to write an essay or a short composition on a given topic.
- Speaking Test: The speaking test will evaluate your oral communication skills through conversation with an examiner.
4. Test Date and Location:
- The CET will take place on September 1st, 2023, in designated examination centers throughout the country.
- Detailed information regarding the test date, time, and location will be provided in your confirmation email.
5. Preparation:
- Familiarize yourself with the test format and practice past examination papers to get an idea of the questions and time constraints.
- Enhance your English language skills by regularly reading English books, newspapers, and articles.
