The registration for the Jiangxi University English Proficiency Test (EPT) is now open. The EPT is a standardized examination designed to assess the English language skills of individuals at different levels, including both undergraduate and postgraduate students. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to demonstrate their proficiency in English and add value to their academic profiles.
Registration Period:
Start Date: August 1, 2023
End Date: August 31, 2023
Test Dates:
Reading, Listening, and Writing: September 16, 2023
Speaking: September 17, 2023
Eligibility:
All currently enrolled students of Jiangxi University are eligible to participate in the EPT. Undergraduate students who are planning to graduate in the upcoming year and postgraduate students who have not yet reached their thesis defense phase are particularly encouraged to register for the test.
Registration Process:
1. Log in to the university's official website.
2. Navigate to the EPT registration page.
3. Fill in the necessary personal information accurately.
4. Choose the preferred test date and time slot.
5. Verify and submit the registration form.
Registration Fee:
The registration fee for the EPT is 50 RMB, payable through an online payment gateway provided on the registration platform. Please ensure that you complete the payment process within three days after submitting your registration form. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of your registration.
Test Format:
The EPT consists of four sections: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. The total duration of the test is approximately three hours and thirty minutes. Detailed instructions and sample questions can be found on the official website of Jiangxi University.
Test Results and Certificates:
Test results will be announced within two weeks after the completion of the EPT. Individual score reports will be available for download on the university's official website. Participants who achieve a passing score will receive an electronic certificate of proficiency in English, which can be added to their academic portfolios.

To assist students in preparing for the EPT, the university provides a range of resources, including online practice tests, study materials, and language learning platforms. These resources can be accessed through the English Department's webpage.
